First things first, pricing might be out of range for those looking for a cheap fix. It's definitely something you would save for those special occasions. Upon entry, I was pleasantly surprised with the decor. It personally sits well with me and I liked the purple colour scheme. It definitely comes across quite swanky and for poverty people like me, I sort of felt "This has got to be way out of my budget, surely!" but it's all good. Only downside is the use of white chairs, where some stains were noticeable, but nothing completely off putting. I'm there for the food, really. Now, it really is a delight to have an establishment that serves only Halal meat in the Japanese/Chinese/Korean/Thai dishes on offer. Truly appreciate when places like these open - London could do with some Halal Korean establishments! I had decided to try the beef salad and another beef dish (not exactly the main meal). Both used beef slices that I believe were cooked the same way but one was a salad, the other just strips and I have to honestly say both were fabulous! Such succulent beef strips. Tasted amazing and I look forward to trying that again on another visit. I also tried the tuna sashimi. Served as 3 thick slices, it was tasty but preferred they be cut into thing slices (could easily cut them all in half). A pleasant dish. The duck spring roles were also a delight. Duck can be sort of hit or miss for me but these tasted very nice. Would definitely recommend these. For mains I chose beef bulgogi steak. On appearance it's slightly underwhelming compared to the beef side dish, but the taste sort of makes up for it. Given the price of this dish (£20 at the time) in the end I preferred the side dish, and even then I just preferred the taste of those, too. Service was prompt and friendly. Food arrived quickly and warm, and VERY nicely presented. Can't fault anything here. Ultimately I would recommend this place and say it's worth going there for a birthday/anniversary. I'll definitely be going again for that beef goodness. Whether the price is worth it - well that is up to you to decide. Very few places like this exist in London that offer Halal meat for Japanese and Korean dishes, so until more competition arrives, places will charge that slight premium. Either way, check it out.
