Yak the Kathmandu Kitchen will serve delicious culturally rich authentic foods from Himalayan region which includes Nepali, Indian, Tibetan, and Bhutanese dishes at great ambiance with warm hospitality. Our food is cooked in traditional Nepali style with Nepali masala, which is mixture of many spices and herbs from the Himalayan mountains.

Strong flavors and rich spices produce dishes that aren\\\'t found in this area but evoke the heritage of the region\\\'s soul food, Creole cooking, and Cajun foods. The goat and lamb dishes are confirmed halal by staff and we enjoyed a variety of them. Keep in mind that spice levels here is more than at indian restaurants, so you may want to go lower than usual. Staff is friendly and carryout is popular.

This restaurant is not halal anymore. Last time I went in, they didn't even tell us the chicken was not halal. They said to our friends that only their meat is now halal. They changed the halal without notifying the customers. Will not go there again.
