Located on the ground floor, Sagittarius Building. New Bombay started as a canteen in 1994, with its first branch in Buendia Supermarket, Makati City. It only had a 25 persons maximum capacity for dine-in, It's food was best described by customers as intense rather than hot. To satisfy the different customers, It had New Bombay cooks differently for Indians & non-Indians (Chinese, Filipinos, Americans, etc...) adjusting the spices and taste to suit the preferred taste of the latter, so the customers love the food & enjoyed the small canteen ambiance.
