I am writing this review with a sense of profound disappointment and disgust, hoping to prevent other customers from experiencing the blatant deception and unhygienic practices I encountered at this establishment. I specifically came in for three pounds of fresh lamb ribs. What I received was a lesson in how a trusted local halal butcher can betray that trust. The issue was not an honest mistake; it was a deliberate, calculated act. As the butcher was preparing my order, I noticed he had some pre-cut ribs sitting on his table. After cutting my fresh, healthy-looking ribs, he surreptitiously added the three pieces to my order before weighing and packaging it. Upon arriving home, the foul odor hit me as soon as I opened the bag. After a quick inspection, I isolated the source: the three pieces he had sneaked in. These ribs were unmistakably spoiled. They had a sour, rotten smell that is the universal sign of spoiled meat, and their color was a tell-tale dull, lifeless grey, a stark contrast to the fresh red pieces I had actually paid for. This is beyond selling a subpar product; this is deliberate fraud and a serious health hazard. A halal establishment is built on principles of integrity and cleanliness, and this action spits in the face of those principles. To knowingly pawn off rotten meat onto a customer, hoping they won't notice, is not just bad business—it's predatory. I paid for fresh, quality meat, and I was sold a mix of fresh and rotten. I will never return, and I strongly urge you to be hyper-vigilant if you choose to shop here. Check every piece of meat you buy before you leave the store. It is a shame that a place that should be trustworthy requires such scrutiny. Save your money and protect your health. Go elsewhere.
