Food us terrible. The chicken tastes like it has been boiled and then added to the curry. Been once

Been here twice within the last 6months (once with wife, other with friends) and on both occasions have had a good experience. Decor is great, food is really really good. You wont be disappointed

I've only been here once but I loved it. The rest of the family have been back a few times and hold quite a favourable opinion of the place. It's almost as good as Al-Faisal's on Stony Lane (which in my opinion is the best restaurant in the area in terms of food and décor) but without the blatant bias towards white customers. Parking is a bit of a mission - the contents of your car may not be there when you return - indeed your car may not be there either! Food is very good; I don't think there was anything I didn't like. The dessert menu was a bit limited though with very pretentious and somewhat misleading descriptions given to some of the items (I'm sure one of the deserts was described as being full of vitamin c and good for your health - which is a first for desserts in general and asian desserts in particular). I'm half tempted to eat a bag of Jellabi in front of my GP and when he chastises me I can produce the Hajee Spices dessert menu and show him how it's all good for my health! There is a large room in the back which may be usable for parties or presumably for families that want a bit more privacy. I would definitely recommended this place and give it a good 4 out of 5.

Very good food, good service. Restaurant is in a converted pub but no spirits around. Parking is down side residential streets or on the main road where possible.
