Amazing Mexican food with barbacoa (brisket) and tongue available. Also have a tone of other options. Apparently very busy in the weekends with people traveling from all overt Dallas to eat here.

As a muslim living in the USA, it is hard to find a place where its both halal and tasty. Tuckers is such a place. The food tastes awesome but what isbetter is the brotherly atmosphere by the owner. It felt like home. It is worth travelling a thousand miles to Mesquite just to eat here and then go back. It is such a place. Me and my wife went to Dallas from Fayetteville Arkansas and we were literally blown away. Don\'t let the looks deceive you (the restaurant being beside a gas station). As soon as you walk into it, the aroma, the smiles will win your heart. I suggest going there with a big appetite. And try everything. bring the rest home. You will miss the place till the day you die.

I asked the owner if the meat being served was Zabihah. He responded stating that "that I am unsure of but it is Halal" , I read between the lines as it wasn't Zabihah. I left disappointed but I also appreciated the honesty by the owner, he wasn't trying to mislead us.

UPDATE: Place is still great. The tacos are delicious. I love the barbacoa. It tastes like nihari. I was a little disappointed with the steak. When i eat fajitas, I expect huge strips of fajita meat, not shredded steak. Still a 5 star place Apr. 2013: Amazing place. I went from Irving to check out this place. The brother was very friendly and greeted us with salaam. We tried the menudo, chicken tenders, beef fajita nachos. I wasn't expecting everything to be good but surprisingly it was all very good except for the menudo which was just ok. But then again beef stomach is hard for most people to eat. We loved the chocolate churros and the service was great even though it was very busy. I definitely recommend this place to everybody.

Nice little place. Clean, good quality food and good portions. The meat pizza was excellent, as was the philly cheesesteak. As in many restaurants, the customer service can make or break the experience, regardless of food quality. The owner of Tuckers and those helping him were very friendly and welcoming. The only downside is the location, being out in Mesquite. But if you are anywhere near that area, it is certainly worth dropping in.

First off, they have the best burgers, tenders, and subs I have ever had! Owners are extremely friendly and I will definitely return. The food is full of flavor and believe the owner when he tells you that you'll love it! It's apart of a gas station but well kept and extremely clean. This was our first visit to Dallas and we tried all other joints around, hands down Tucker's has the best halal TexMex American style food! We will be back soon!

This is a small place next to a convenience store in Mesquite. It is clean and the menu is great. They have burgers, philly cheese steak, wings, pizza, and a lot of sides. We went there with about 12 people, ordered a variety of items and they were all very good. Prices were reasonable. Owner and sons were working there and serving us and were friendly and professional. The philly cheese steak was very good and the pizza was also good. The enchilida plate was so so.

I was greeted with "Assalamu Aleikum" be the sister at the counter. She was very friendly and helped me choose something delicious. She assured me that the owner is Muslim and that entire menu is halal. When I questioned the bacon and sausage etc on the breakfast menu, she explained that all of those products are made of halal turkey. I had the BBQ brisket beef sandwich, fries, salad, and sweet tea...it was so delicious! Nice place to eat in: big, bright, clean. I will definitely go back soon!

Truly good food here.. The owner was very nice as well.. The tacos are authentic and very good. We also had the crispy chicken sandwich which was very good. The selection is huge and we will definitely go back to try other stuff. Too bad its far away from where we live, otherwise we would go much more often. Keep up the great work brother.

Owner did not answer when I asked him the source of meat. he just said I buy somewhere from Richardson. how can he buy HALAL meat without knowing the name of the place. I doubt that they sell Zabihah meat. please double verify before going there because I had to leave from there after going there.
