NY Chicken & Biscuit

This place no longer is NY chicken and biscuit; has been taken over by a local selling Latino cuisine, the halal sign is still up, but it is unlikely that they are serving only halal chicken.

This is probably the most heart-attack inducing food you can think of. Items include chicken, jamaican beef patties, fries, mozzarella sticks, fish, etc.----all fried. Not to mention apple and sweet potato pie, chocolate and carrot cake, and fried dough. The brother assured us it was all halal...however I put partial halal just to encourage others to keep asking and verifying that all items are indeed halal. This is in Parkville (Latino quarter), so not the best area, but if you want fast food, this is one of the few places that has a prominent "halal" sign. Hours above are Sun-Thurs......9:30am-4am on Fridays and Saturdays. I hope zabihah.com will enable a more detailed "hours of operation" section because in restaurants hours are not the same every day of the week.
