We visited this halal supermarket with our infant children to buy meat. We asked for 2 kg of chicken breast meat and then asked if it could be cut While I understand that due to Christmas orders or workload this request may not have been possible, what was unacceptable was the rude and dismissive way an older staff member responded. He spoke harshly with an elevated tone “no kulash, it is written here, read this…..,” which was very uncomfortable—especially in front of our family and children. I appreciate that my husband chose to remain calm, did not argue back, and simply walked away, as the situation did not deserve escalation. However, no customer should be spoken to in this manner. Respect and basic politeness should be maintained at all times, regardless of how busy a store may be. Unfortunately, this experience left us with a very negative impression, and we will not be returning.

I had a disappointing experience at this halal supermarket. I went there with my wife and our infant children to buy meat. I politely asked for 2 kg of chicken and then requested if it could be cut into “kulash.” I completely understand that due to workload or special orders (like Christmas orders), this might not be possible. However, the issue was not the refusal, but the rude and disrespectful tone used by the older staff member. He replied loudly and rudely, saying “No kulash, it is written here, read this,” which was uncomfortable and unnecessary—especially in front of my family. Customer service and basic politeness matter, even when you’re busy. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression.

I really appreciate how organized and clean your shop is, and I love the wide variety of products you offer. I shop here mainly for the Halal meat, but unfortunately, I've had issues at the butcher counter as they often refuse to cut the meat the way I request. Because of this, I've had to shop elsewhere recently. I'd love to continue being a customer if this could be addressed!
