I am not going to comment on the halal authenticity part. I think the north Indian food they serve is mediocre and extremely over priced. The BBQ and curries in general are poorly made, stale, insipid and extremely expensive while comparing the portion size. Their south Indian stuff is rather better. With the price we pay for two people its always in the range of 60$+ and that is very high with the quality of this restaurent.

NEVER AGAIN @ Norwood location. There are at 12:30 lunch time and felt rushed the whole time. I asked if can take the dessert to go and they said sure but would charge me $5 for a small tiny container on top of my buffet price. I've never had this issue taking dessert with any other Indian/Pakistani place and I have eaten at many across the country. Bottom line: THAT'S BAD BUSINESS. Pennies smart dollar dumb.

They assured me that it is halal. It is non-Muslim owned and operated, but that does not bother me. What bothers me are these: 1- They charge $15/person for buffet, and their choices are very limited. But that's even fine. 2- Before we could even sit, the host is like "hurry up because we're closing". The sign said that they close at 3pm , they wanted us out by 2:30! We didn't eat and left.
