5 Brothers Fried Chicken & Waffles

Delicious food, and the brothers that work there are amazing.

What can I say, this place was amazing a definite must visit. The staff is great. The food is great. Parking is not bad, there are a lot of side streets just around the corner if their lot is full so just take your food and eat there if you can't take it home or if home is too far. I was looking for halal chicken and waffles on long island for the longest time, and this place is a gem since there really aren't any halal chicken and waffle places. But not only is this halal chicken and waffles, but they also have other good southern comfort food items like munchers (jalapeno poppers like) and corn nuggets which were really good and a must try. We got the 6 piece (did 3 chicken and 3 tenders) with 2 waffles and 2 sides which came out to $15.80 and we were very pleased. The chicken is similar to the fried chicken you'd find at Palace fried chicken or Kennedy fried chicken when they are nice and crunchy. If you are 15 minutes or so away just order on the phone because this place gets busy. Their ketchup hot sauce is also really tasty for dipping the chicken. The waffles are really good and thick. It is a must visit place if you're in the area or even if you aren't just get out and go.

Now there all menu is halal and I love there food

Some items are Not halal! Must ask even if you're in hijab they won't tell you, I do hope that changes because I have not gone there since. The food was wonderful though. In sha Allah they label the items that are not zabihah.
