Owners are originally from Lahore and that reflects in their portion size and flavors. Food is really good and fresh, although a bit on the heavy side. I happened to go at the time they made fresh pakoras and the uncle behind the counter offered me a handful to try for free. Good stuff. Palak (spinach) dishes, both with and without meat are really good. Vegetarian chana (garbanzo beans) is very spicy but really good. They always serve fresh roti (bread). Both chai and Kashmiri chai are quite good. Place is relatively humble, don't see a lot of women there. They do have a prayer place for men.

Samosa was okay. Naan Kabab roll bearable. Nothing special

When all else fails, this place is almost always open--closes at around 5 AM. I make it my mission to hit this place up whenever I'm in New York. While the place may seem humble, it's safe to say the quality of the food more than makes up for it. People that have never before had Pakistani food have been impressed when I take them. Can't go wrong with this place--reasonable prices, good service, but overall, tasty food! They have a great selection of South Asian sweets--gajar halwa, ras malai, etc. The Kashmiri tea is a must if you decide to give this place a try.

Carried out some kababs and naan. Very good. The chicken was a little bland, however the chutney added a nice kick. I recommend.
