good food the lady is quite rude although the man is quite kind food wise not bad
The staff are friendly and polite, which is appreciated. However, the food quality is disappointing. Most of the curries and chicken dishes have an unpleasant smell and taste as if they are 3–4 days old. The food quality is inconsistent—each visit offers a different taste and overall experience. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult to enjoy meals here or recommend the restaurant.
Please check your Roti and Naan before leaving this shop (( smell it )) as the atta is old and the roti STINKS!! THIS HAS HAPPENED A FEW TIMES BEFORE.. So be weary! I won't be going again as I've been bitten a few times now.
I placed an order for 25 rotis due to having guests, only to be informed that the roti machine was malfunctioning, necessitating the preparation of tawa rotis at a cost of £0.60 each instead of the usual £1 for three. I consented, as a competitor charges £1 per roti, making this option 40p cheaper. Upon arrival, however, I was told the price was actually £0.70 each, still representing a 30p saving. The rotis provided were excessively thin, indistinguishable from machine-made rotis, which I consider to be an unacceptable value. Please review the attached photograph for your assessment. I will not be using this establishment again.
Desi Pakistani Indian food, affordable price and nice service. First visit to roti junction has Chicken Karahi, best naan, spicy pasta and RasMalai.
I've been to alot of Indian restaurants but trust me when I say that this is by far one of the worst restaurants that I've laid my eyes on. It may fool these goris but never me. The chicken biryani that they've sold for £3, is tasteless which makes sense considering it seems they make it at the start of the week and reheat each time someone orders it. The guy even asked if I wanted it cold; who wants biryani cold?!?!. The samosa was a little cold, but when we reheated it, it was not that bad but I wouldn't call it good by any means. The roti was tasteless, and peeling itself - honestly a disappointment. And lastly, the lassi - the pinnacle of disastrous lassis. It tasted like the put milk, sugar and yogurt into a mixer and went ham, making it inedible. The kitchen doesn't use gloves or hairnets; legit saw the guy grab my samosa with his wet hands. Overall, quite cheap prices. But considering the food it should be even cheaper. I've placed pictures for all my clearly adequate accusations of the place, which I will never be visiting again. Message for the owner: I don't mind paying a higher price for better quality food. This is just outrageous and an insult to Pakistani/Indian cuisine.
