Tangerine Asian Cuisine

This was a while back but I recently remembered that I should leave a review of my experience on this app as well. Tangerine is NOT halal. I used to eat there often with family amd friends; we celebrated many occasions at this restaurant and also ordered takeout regularly as well. A few years ago, I was waiting to pick up takeout and someone else in front of me was also picking up pre-ordered food. I heard him ask if it\'s the non-halal and the Server confirmed \"Yes, non-halal\". When it was my turn to pick up, I asked if they serve non-halal as well and they said \"No, everything is halal\". They are lying to customers and I have never been back to this restaurant since.

Not halal and try are lying about there where they get there meat.

Asalamu'alaikum, I have finally taken the time to write this review after hearing so many of my Muslim friends going to Tangerine. We used to go to this owners restaurant and knew him personally for a very long time. When we heard Tangerine was opening in Markham we went often. HOWEVER, this place is NOT HALAL! We found a FROG in our soup and out of shock and horror left immediately. When advised to return, the man there (bald, speaks hindi) denied he knew us (even though he knew us for years) and said he didn't know anything we were talking about. Its such a shame they still say it is halal and so many Muslims continue to eat there everyday. Please, if you pay attention to eating halal and not haram food, do not go to this place and ask for this restaurant to be removed from Zabihah. Very dishonest and DISGUSTING... May Allah protect us from what is made haram to us.

My favourate place for hakka food, the mango chicken is really good, pakora's are must. The service is friendly. Go there at least once a month.

Food is great but they do serve alcohol. I specifically asked about halal and they confirmed it.

This restaurant is NOT HALAL! I have called them and asked them where they got their meat from. They told me and I called the halal company they recieved their meat from and the person told me they buy very little just to say they sell halal. This restaurant should not be considered Halal. I'm having doubt in this website now. I don't know why it also says 'A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises of this restaurant' in the summary. I think the owners of this website should take more precaution.

JACKPOT Perfectumundo! Wicked decor. Very neat and clean. Amazing lunch deals (so cheap). My favourite there is crispy ginger chicken. I would highly recommend this place.

Ordered hot garlic chicken. The food was good but tasted the same as other hakka restaurants. The restaurant looked the same as other hakka restaurants. The funny thing is that the prices were the same as other hakka restaurants too.
