It is right next to Yunus Halal Restaurant. The ambience might not be as great but the food is cheaper. The food was delicious. Definitely a must try.

The nearest MRT to the restaurant is the Nanjing East Road station on the Wenhu Line. However, it's quite a long walk from the MRT station so I would suggest taking a bus or a can to go to the restaurant. The restaurant is located right beside the stadium so you will not miss it. I had the set meal for two person comprising of the Deep Fried Pepper Chicken, Stir Fry Beef Coconut Milk and water celery stir fry with oyster sauce. The waitress kindly added a free dessert and soup to my set meal. Free flow of drinks (mango juice and plum juice) were also part of the set meal. The food was delicious and definitely worth a try! I also had a shrimp cake to go since I saw that all of the other patrons had also ordered the same. The total for my set meal plus the shrimp cake was NT$747. Not one of the cheaper restaurants but definitely worth a try if you are lookin for halal food in Taipei.

This restaurant is next to the Stadium and is not in the main road so Taxi driver had problem initially to find the street and the restaurant. The name outside the restaurant is display as Halal Bismilla Restauran and the business card is displayed as Tai Xiang Yun. I had the set dinner with 1 hot beef, 1 soup, 1 vegetable and egg omelet for $475 NT dollar. It is too much for 1 person and I should have ordered less. Service is good and it is very quite on weekdays dinner. I don't see them serving any alcohol and owner are Muslim. I will definitely be back again

The restaurant is just couple of doors beside Yunus Halal Restaurant. The ambiance is very warm and welcoming and the food and price is quite promising. The dishes are mainly influenced by Thai/Chinese food. And the portion is quite generous. I suggest you take a cab if you're planning to fine here. Stop at Nanjing East Road Station (Wenhu line/ brown line) and the cab will only cost approximately NTD80.

The name on the outside is Bismillah but the menu says Thai Garden. Its two doors north of Yunus another muslim restaurant by the Taipei Arena. At first I thought their prices were expensive starting at 200 TWD but when I ordered it came with a giant rice pot, too much for one person so actually a lot of food. Also there was an included dessert dish of custard and whipped cream with rasberry jam so really good value. Owners were very friendly and spoke english. There were muslim and other taiwanese customers. Halal certificate and pictures of kaaba on display

Was there with wife in April 2011. The restaurant serves Thai and Chinese dishes. The foods are excellent and suitably priced. We were served by a hijab wearing Muslimah who came from Kunming, China. The restaurant is located beside Taipei Arena (stadium).
