We visited Raj Restaurant as a group of 25 people for dinner, and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. We ordered apple juice for the children, but instead an apple appetizer/drink was brought to the table, and there appeared to be something inside the glass. After we raised the issue, it was replaced. One of our friends asked for an item he was not able to see, When he raised the issue, the waiter, who we later learned was the manager, responded rudely and told him to check the menu while wearing glasses. We found this response disrespectful and unprofessional. The service was extremely slow, and our food took a very long time to arrive. When the garlic naan was finally served, it contained little to no garlic. After we questioned this, the same staff member stated that they use garlic paste and then commented, “This is not India, we make it like this.” We found this remark inappropriate, dismissive, and disrespectful. Overall, the food, service, and attitude of the management were far below expectations. If it were possible to give less than one star, we would. Unfortunately, one star is the lowest rating available. I would not recommend this restaurant.
