This place is under new management and their food is not halal anymore as far as I know. I asked them and they ignored the question.

Me and my husband found this place about 3 months ago and we love it. The food is perfect, people are really sweet, it's great.

Really nice authentic arabian food. Try their meat lover platter! Great taste!

Decent food, ambiance typical---TV with news showing. Moroccans own it. We were the only ones there. UPDATE: I went there again and the place had more customers. They seem to be building a hookah-lounge type section. Not my cup of tea as a Muslim. Then again we have to admit the place is clean and the service is good and this is exceptional for us. I do wish they would season their rice and meat a bit more...this is Middle eastern food after all.

House of Kabob offers a variety of great tasting Mediterranean food at a very affordable price! Whether its the chicken or beef shwarma, the falafel, or kabobs, whether you have it wrapped in their warm, delicious and large pita bread, or resting on their delectably flavored rice, your meal at the House of Kabob is made to order and is sure to satisfy! I sprinkle a dash of salt on mine to enhance the exotic flavors of the Mediterranean style meats and rice, culminating in a mouth watering experience that will leave you wanting more! Located next door to the CCSU campus, they are in close proximity to much of West Hartford, Farmington, Newington, and New Britain, making it easy to dine in, carry-out, or to get delivery. I have tried most of the menu and so far everything tastes excellent. The falafel and grape leave rolls also make for nice sides. Want something more conventional? They also serve some more traditional American eats, and their French fries are especially good!

The food is very affordable, I had the kabob plate which includes humus, salad, and 3 kinds of meat, all for 10 dollars. Prepared fresh and tastes good. The brothers there are very nice and courteous, good location near CCSU, however it is in the back of the plaza so you have to look for it.
