Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
In 2002 Kazan Victoria opened its doors on Wilton Road, a short stroll from Victoria station. It immediately became popular among clientele who wanted to enjoy Turkish food in a genuine atmosphere. Coming from a family with extensive cooking tradition, the owners were keen to get past the Doner-Kebab clich with a rich menu (some recipes dating from 500 years ago) of authentic and enticing flavours, importing herbs and spicing from the great Anatolian region.

We walked into this restaurant a few nights ago and asked if they served halal meat. The waiter assured us so we had dinner there. The restaurant has a very good atmosphere with romantic lighting, good table settings and is generally very crowded as it appears to be a local favorite. The service was excellent here. We had recently taken to trip to Turkey so although the food was very delicious, it didn't compare to food in Turkey. I ordered the kebabs with yogurt which were very good. My husband had the pasha kebab with mashed potatoes and loved it. They do serve alcohol here and use it in various dishes, but those items are clearly marked with a notation on the menu.
