The owners are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status.. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
Ths site replaces an earlier version on South Brea Canyon Blvd. that burned down.

This was my first experience here the food and service was good. We were three persons The quantity was also reasonable, I would definitely recommend this place. Ashraf
The food was good but we were probably given food for about half the people we ordered it for.
Assalam o alaikum. Been to ashiyana many times and their food is good. Buffet is also very reasonable. Nice service and atmosphere as well.
I've eaten chicken tikka masala at many restaurants and none has been better than this restaurant's version of it. Beef karhi is very good too. The place needs updating to make it more inviting. Ambience is disappointing but very good for takeout.
Average food nothing to go crazy about!
In the past few years the quality of food has gone down from 5 stars to minus 5 and no stars...they give you almost rotten food specially when you order to take out...at least 3 times I had to throw the food away... I actually give them several chances but enough is enough... once, at the time of payment the server told me not to put the tip on the bill because the owners don't give them their tip... what kind of a Muslim is he! I have just stop going there thks.
The owner used to also own Bismillah in Orange County. Food is very tasty, like home made. Huge place, they have banquets here frequently. Food prices are a bit high, and portions getting smaller. Weekday Buffet is excellent, for two people $20 including tip. But don't be late, they close the buffet promptly at 2:30pm and then you have to order from the menu. Specially after Friday prayers, it can be difficult to get there before the 2:30 deadline.
Found this restaurant on zabihah iPhone app. Huge restaurant and dining area. Menu has Indian and Pakistani dishes. Ordered Nihaari and lamb karahi and couple of Naans for my friend and myself. Nice Indian music; seems like a fm station. Restaurant is little expensive but worth your money.
Went to this restaurant at 5:00 pm. May be it had just opened after the afternoon break. There was just one person in this big restaurant who was attending cash register, taking orders, serving plates and going in and out of the kitchen. He was joined much later by other employees. That is why it took a while for us to get the food. Beef kabab and Haleem were good. Chicken Biryani was average. They also host buffet for $7.99. So their buffet would be cheaper than ordering the items separately. It has a banquette facility to accommodate around 100 persons. Decore is also good.
