Masgouf House

This is an excellent restaurant, Masha\'Allah. Located in posh Knightsbridge, not far from Harrod\'s, the restaurant is small-ish without feeling cramped. The decoration is minimal but classy, with Iraqi music playing in the background. The service was very polite and fast (although I did go at a quiet time in between lunch and dinner). The food was top-notch. I ordered the masgouf, and out came a mouthwatering grilled whole fish seasoned with light spices; it was so tender and perfectly cooked. After the meal, I received a complimentary plate of dates and a few sweets, and they were among the best sweets I have ever eaten Masha\'Allah (they nearly melted in my mouth). It\'s not the cheapest place, but considering the location of the restaurant and the quality of food you\'re being served, it\'s worth the price.

I have tried the food in this restaurant several times, it is excellent. sometimes it gets very crowded I do suggest that you reserve a table before you go. Regarding alcohol I am sure that they do not serve alcohol, I have asked the waiters and I was assured they do not serve alcohol. Please update your information

Masgouf is one of the many Arabic restaurants in the Knightsbridge area of London, and in some ways, it is very similar to them, for example, the next door Ishbilia. It is a small place. Apart from the usual grills, however, it has some wonderful dishes. I especially recommend the "Kouzi." It is lamb shanks, cooked slowly to get so tender that you don't need a knife to tear pieces apart. Served with rice that has raisins and nuts in, one portion is large enough to feed two.
