Excellent dining option with great sitting space and staff who are exceptionally friendly. Fully halal. Good food. Highly recommend. The owner Aasim is a very friendly and fun person who is also quite artistic. Fish tank with Star Wars characters and occasional Pokémon characters greets you outside :)

Food was average. Chicken tikka was bland. Vindaloo was not spicy at all. Chicken chili was ok. Naans were good. Overall 3/5. Owners/manager were somewhat rude. Not many other halal options in the area.

Halal certified - excellent food We cater from them regularly. The owner is a wonderful person - great family owned businesses. Support this wonderful Halal restaurant. 5 star food and service. One of only two restaurants in this area with halal food. The one star review is someone who is not from our local community and did not sample the food, and decided he would give a negative review of a great restaurant just to be malicious.

Staff verbally assured us all meat is halal. Service is great, owners are nice, however I found the food to be average, at best. The Chicken boti kabab and the tandoori chicken was ok. Extremely expensive. The food here appears to appease non-desis. I may return if in the area.

We were there yesterday and had a very good experience, and they even provided us space for prayers. I did see alcohol but meat served there is halal. Owners are very friendly and will definitely go there again.

Driving back from LA, decided to call Shalimar to confirm Halal Status, the voice on the other end said 'Alhumdulillah we are Halal' and my heart was at peace. At the Entrance smelled strong alcohol smell, and lo behold when the door opened beer and wine laced the shelves with a bar like setting. Turned back without entering further, would request Zabihah to remove this entry as serving Halal Meat with Alcohol can never be justified! Its the owners prerogative what he has to sell but sorry this is not a Halal Restaurant!

Do not miss if you are in the area. Lovely decor and delicious food. The staff is super friendly. Got the seekh kebab,chicken Karahi and tikka masala. All were yummy
