This place used to be really good, but it seems to have slipped. We went for a buffet on the weekend, the nihari and haleem were average, the tandoori chicken was great. Overally it\'s just fine.

This is a nice family restaurant we have been visiting for more than a decade. The restaurant space, neighbors and ambience has been improving with time. The food is probably the best we\'ve had in this area. The dry items like grills & barbecue are tastier that the traditional curries. The place is clean and bathrooms are getting better and the time to get the food served is high like 25 minutes at least if not pre-ordered by phone. .

One of the legendary halal restaurants that have been in Atlanta for a long time. Norcross is notable for its large Muslim population, and this place delivers. They\'re brunch buffet is amazing, with different types of paratha and meats, for pretty cheap. The butter chicken and naan is always good.

Oh Mughals, how my waist line does not love you! We have been patrons of this establishment for 10 years. We dined at the original location, when the food was good enough to overlook some of the cleanliness issues. When it burned we cried, until we realized they had a temporary location across the street. Now that it is back to it\'s original spot we find ourselves holding all halal restaurants to the Mughals standard. We go as a party of 3 but always order enough food for 10 so that we can carry home and feast for days. The nan is wonderfully and crispy, the butter chicken is like liquid gold (you do not want to waste a smidgen of the delicious sauce), the chicken charga is excellent. On our recent trip we decided to try the mixed grill for two reasons: 1) we kept watching it be delivered to other tables and were obsessed with the sizzling delicious scents and 2) because it just looked so yummy in the photos. It was - yummy, delicious, amazing! Now we have another dish to add to our list of favorites. My one request of the management would be to add a biryani option that has the flavor of the seasoned rice without the bulk of the add-ins (goat, chicken, vegetables). We enjoy eating the biryani with the saucy dishes, but found that the vegetable biryani was more vegetables than rice. Yes, I know - we could order plain rice, but it is just not the same. Hand-slaughtered chicken is prominently featured in the sign on the door. They seemed to have resolved their cleanliness issues from years ago (thank you fire for making them start from the ground up!). This establishment is well worth the drive if you are any where near the Atlanta area - say Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, the Carolina\'s. Get in your car now, thank me later!

Typical Indian/Pakistani restaurant setup with tables lined up. No coordination or floor plan to show any focus on overall experience. The owner was very friendly and open/joking with patrons. Can be a good thing depending on the jokes. The place was packed. Not sure if it was because of the holiday weekend, but being packed is always a good thing. Customer Service: Not great, but ok. You have to walk up to order and then the food will be served which, again, based on how the restaurant is laid out, it some how does not flow well. Quality: Poor - When people get sick from the food, that is a bad sign. In this case, my son had gotten sick. The only thing he ate that was different from the rest of us was that he added raita. After we had left, we found out that the yogurt has been bad in the past. Meat Authenticity: For those who are indifferent about this... this section is not for you to read. All inquiries are dated. As with everything in life, changes occur and meat sources can also change. So call, be respectful and ask. All meat items are hand slaughtered. Additional verification through locals was done. Pros: Courteous staff. The owner was very accommodating. Food was consistent from the last time we came to this restaurant. Cons: NIhari was subpar. Granted, I am comparing this to Chicago, but it should reach a certain level of authenticity. People getting sick is never a pro. Overall Experience: Poor really due to my son getting sick AND that this was not the first time. The food is ok. I hope the owner reads these comments. I will be contacting the owner.

average food, poor customer service. the staff is friendly but they can't handle it when they are busy. and they do get very busy on weekends. we have been to this place 3 times and on all occasions, the food was just ok. nothing special. also, the food taste was different every time (no consistency). the charga was very dry and hard. we had to return it. they gladly replaced it with a new one but it was only slightly better. Nihari was good. on all three occassions, i had trouble digesting the food the next day... probably wont be back!

extremely delicious food. we had a marriage ceremony there. and one of my guests decided to move to Atlanta just because of their food. they are also very particular about zabiha hand slaughter. the only negative i felt was there dealing. they are a little too desi style.

Just ate there the other day after breaking fast at the nearby masjid. The food was excellent and for a non-pakistani it has plenty of flavor and spices. I love thee tandoori chicken and naan. It is one of the best in the area if not THE BEST.

This place is really nice and owner is a nice person. Food is a mix like once I ordered vegetables and it was under cooked but rest of the stuff was really good. This resturant is a very safe bet in case you are searching for halal, clean and good food.

im not a nihari eater and yet loved their nihari as well as the chicken 65. biryani was average, karahi gosht was very spicy but very tasty. as far as i am aware they only do zabiha chicken and meat so alhamdlillah! decor could be updated but food is tasty.

Things have definitely changed since the last time I have been here. The food is a mix, some things are very good and some things aren't so good. The service is the same but they make you wait a long time to get your food. I would recommend the chicken tikka and chops fry. However the beef sheikh kabob and biryani aren't the same. They also give smaller portions and charge more. Nice family atmosphere to dine in.

Great Bun-kababs and naan Decent Nihari Not too great kabab rolls. The paratha was too thick and soggy. The Masala soda is also great Its 7up with chat masala in it - like Nando's Portugese Lemonade. The ambience is below average, but the owner Naushad is a very nice brother.

Im a little skeptical about there meats, yet I have only had there weekend breakfast, the halva poori, chanay and nihari, etc. First the halva, was soo extremely colored, it was a construction glow in the dark orange, which tasted okay but was overly colored. The nihari meat is questionable, the tase no doubt was good, but we were with friends who were very very convinced the meat was cornbeef, which i have no idea what that is. I stick to Zabihah meats only. Its hard to try to find the truth from restaurants, if you ask its Zabihah? they say yes its Halal, when definitely there is a difference in the two. I think the distributors for this restaurant needs to be verified to make sure there meats are Zabihah. By the way the restaurants decor and cleanliness is very very poor. They could do so much better.

The first time I went here the food was EXTREMELY spicy and didn't enjoy it very much. We had a kabob roll and nihari. I went again a second time (because it was just next door to the place I went to get meat and so it was just convenient) but this time I enjoyed the food. Came back a 3rd time and had halwa and poori breakfast on the weekend. Pretty good.

Highly recommend the Sunday buffet! I drive over and hour to go there because it is an excellent meal for a great price. The buffet dosen't have tons of options, but what they offer is really good! You can look forward to a great Nihari, delicious fresh Naan, good paya, and halva poori. This is a meal worth having...Highly recommend!

I don't know about the menu items, but the weekend buffet was excellent. The nihari was perfect... I haven't had nihari this good since I last ate at burn's road in karachi. And it WASN'T made from shaan masala's... which made it all the more better. The best desi food I've eaten out in a long time.

If you like to eat extremely hot stuff this is the best place for you. They used to have the best Nihari in town but the standard has been constantly on a decline. More than a few times when I went there, I was served Nihari that was atleast 2 to 3 days old. And some of the other visits.... it was alright. If the food they are serving is not fresh, they will put huge amounts of pepper and green chilli to cover up and the result will be loss of the use of your taste buds for the following day or two.
