About Al Madinah

Al-Madinah opened in February 2001 and since its inception has been a success. To capture the public interest for lunches that are a little more fun and with an oriental spirit is what we have taken on. In so doing, we do not have either a high price or have to tamper with quality. With fresh ingredients, knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices, we have saturated thousands of Stockholmers as looking for a different lunch.

Difficult to find this restaurant since the name is changed to "garden deli" palestinian food.

My wife waited for us while we did the Friday Prayers at the Mosque. It's located just outside the lower level of the Mosque. They had buffet lunch for SEK89 which was really value for money. The chicken and rice was delicious. Our kids had seconds.

Couldn't find the restaurant and upon asking a visitor to the nearby mosque, the restaurant is closed. Don't know if it is true but make sure it is open, if you want to visit the place.

I went here last week after Jumma. It was busy but with Muslims and non-Muslims. They had Lunch Menu and I had Couscous with a large leg of lamb. You get free salad, drink and bread and is a bit canteen style. But lovely food and great vibe with mixture of people. Will def go back again and try the Chicken and rice - inshallah!

I visited the restaurant last week during Ramadhan. The restaurant was not serving normal menu. It has a large seating area with clean environment but is more like a cafe rather than a restaurant. Soon after the maghrib prayers there was a very long queue. Food was ok but then it was not the normal menu. It is located beneath the Stockholm masjid next to a playground and very close to a metro station.
