We stayed in Phuket for 5 days and ate at Cairo at least 4 times. The food was great! The best item was the kabob roll. We also had a kabob meal which was enough food for 2 people to share.
We visited this restaurant after seeing the positive reviews and decided to try the lamb skewers and lamb kebab sandwiches. Honestly, the food was excellent. The lamb was flavorful, rich, and cooked really well. The atmosphere felt very Egyptian and genuinely authentic, and the staff initially came across as friendly and fun. That said, the service could use some improvement. No one checked in to see how the food was, and after taking payment, the interaction felt rushed and impersonal, with no follow-up or warmth. Great food and vibe overall, but the service experience didn’t quite match the quality of the food.
