Food Haven Halal Stalls

The Food Haven Foodcourt at the basement of Jungceylon Shopping Center at Patong has a pair of halal stalls selling thai food. They have set menus of white/fried rice, green/red curry, stir fried chicken/beef, fried eggs and they also have pad thai noodles and chicken satay. Note 1: The stalls display halal signs but the fixed sign-board above the stall mentions "Pork". A check with the staff reveals that the sign-board is old and their food now is strictly halal. Note 2: Although the food is halal, it is served on common plates that is used by other non-halal stalls throughout the Foodcourt! There are no plates/cutlery specific to the halal stalls. Since u have to take your own metal cutlery from the cutlery stations, u can choose to bring your own but it is not known if the halal stalls have disposable plates/containers for takeaways.
