Taza Café

Had lunch in Taza yesterday . I ordered morocco chicken , it's below average . They have many good options but I didn't try them so I can't judge

Well went here after reading the reviews and I was not that impressed. There was an older man whom i was greeted by, he assured everything was halal except the turkey- okay that was a plus hes honest. Also another plus was he handed complimentary falafels which were hot and fresh. So I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich. I have eaten at multiple places so I could decipher and compare. And i was not at all happy. The chicken was dry and just so thinly sliced, then the pita was cold, and i was expecting their own way of making a sandwich- not a subway(you pick your toppings). Anyways I would suggest them to to add more flavor, cut the meat thicker and have their way of making a sandwich.

Food is good taste and nice. We had gyro which he says it halal. It was tasty. Nice service and good place.

I am a regular now as it is only a block away from my work. The staff is super friendly, everything on the menu is awesome. My favorite is hummus plate with gyro or the gyro salad. They were also at the Chicago halal food festival last month.

This place is good and recommended, they have alot of options, prices are fair. My best is shawrma salad

Taste is great! Very close to the chicago kaplan center so whenever I got done with lectures I came here to have a nice snack. The falafel sandwich is delicious! Honestly you cant go wrong with anything on the menu. Great place and very convenient for me!

The first person who takes your order is a Muslim and replies to Salam. He told that everything except turkey is zabihah-halal. I feel the taste is great on days when I don't feel nostalgic (PK). My work colleagues of different ethnicity (Polish, etc.) like this place too. Takes credit cards, a change from the 2009 review.

Had lunch today at Taza. I had Taza's chicken. Good, fast food.

the food is tasty and worth going there if you are in the neighborhood and looking for a quick lunch, this place closes early and does not open in the weekend since it's in the middle of a business district, another bad side is they don't take credit cards so be prepared to pay in cash

Assalamoalykum, Only Chicken Kabob, Morroco Chicken and Chicken Kifta is Zabihah. Owner is very honest person so dont hasitate to ask which one is Zabihah or non Zabihah. Try their Falafal Hamus Sandwich
