Family Meat Market

I travel for almost 1 and 1/2 hours to go to this market to buy all my halal meat and chicken every couple of months. The main reason is that they sell organic chicken and grass fed beef, those really taste better than the huge hormones fed animals, they are twice the size but tasteless, you should try and you will know the difference. I love this place also because they are very honest people and really friendly and care for their customers.

My family loves this market. And they have best service, quality and prices. Very clean store I have never seen any problems with cleanliness. They have an A rating with the Health Department and as far as gloves go they have latex and plastic : ) and they always use them every time I go there so i would definitely recommend. I just wanted to write an honest review thanks for reading!

They have great service. The lady works there always do her best and prepare your order ASAP. The only reason concern I have is cleanliness. They don't use gloves most of the time. ( except the lady). One time I warned the guy( owners son) to wear gloves before touching the meat and he sarcastically told me I should wash the meat before I eat. This is not acceptable. You can not see anybody touching meat with their barehand in any other non muslim stores .He touches the money right before handling the meat. As a muslim person they should be more careful about cleanliness.

Family Market has the best Zabihah Halal meat in all of Los Angeles. It's always fresh, high quality for very reasonable prices. I love their new location inside Royal Plaza on Reseda Blvd. because it has great parking. Owners are known Muslims and provide wonderful customer service. I've been going to them for years and have recommended them to all my family and friends.

Verified halal meat ask your local store for the invoices to prove "Halal". This store is great A rating with the city clean fresh high quality meats and products. This is the oldest(and best) Halal store in the SFV over 27 years in business, i'm a loyal customer for 19 of those years!

I went at 10am on a Saturday, and they did not have a wide selection of meat, although the goat was very fresh. There is no produce and not a great selection of canned goods and other stuff, but pretty good frozen food. It was nice to hear the Quran while I was shopping instead of that cheesy middle eastern music :-).

Best Halal market I've found in years. My family drives from Bakersfield just to get the most fresh, best tasting meat from the Family Market. Owners are wonderful Muslim family, very friendly, and provide great customer service. I recomend this market!

I bought chicken thrice from this place and each time informed them that they should cut it carefully but unfortunately they didnot heed to my suggestion. The chicken has broken bone pieces and after cooking it leaves many small broken pieces in the food. This is due to the pieces not being cut in a neat fashion. Watchout for this as you may have to rush to Dentist.. However, The chicken is very tasty ! and has better taste than the nearby groceries.. I am thinking of buying whole chicken from them and cutting at home.
