Couldn't find anything here
Didn't really expect a member of staff to square up to me today and get sassy, but here we are. Literally turned around from the salad section and accidentally bumped her as she was walking by, I apologised, to which her reaction was to step forward to me, look me up and down, suck her teeth and went "hmm, yeah, alright then" in the aggy-est tone possible. She then wandered off and started talking to a stock cage/trolley as if it was a sentient being, so I'm not even entirely sure she registered the interaction. High? Mentally unwell? Who knows, whatever the case she shouldn't be in a busy retail environment, if she can't handle the smallest bump from a customer without losing her marbles.
The Argos ladies were lovely and helpful both days. I went to purchase a phone for my birthday. The security however profiled me and had me followed by undercover security. Disappointed. I’m a lot older than I look and usually drive to the store however walked on both days and was wearing a backpack and headphones. I have a disability so they help me with my shopping trips. I just felt very uncomfortable in my shopping experience and targeted. It did ruin it for me. I won’t be returning anytime soon. It’s the tall butch looking guard with glasses. Made it so obvious. Don’t judge a book by a cover. Yes you have a job to do but making an adult female uncomfortable shouldn’t be part of it.
Nice Christmas deals. £11 for a large salmon. Clean store. Items clearly labelled and plenty of choice. Scan and go also makes the shopping experience a breeze
Staff are not very friendly and there are always rough people hanging around outside. The specsavers inside is great and the whole store is useful. The Caffe Carluccio’s inside is good too. Had GBK here a few years ago and that was amazing.
it’s a huge store with loads of choice and easy access, perfect for a big weekend shop, especially if you’ve got a car. The Restaurant Hub, Selly Oak was a lovely surprise too — I tried a chicken wrap with fries and it was absolutely delicious! Staff were friendly and the place felt clean and well-organised. Definitely one of the better Sainsbury’s I’ve been to.
