We went with a group of six to this restaurant and ordered the mixed plate of appetizers, however, when eating the chicken and the kebabs, there was a funny taste in the food that years of cooking experience told us that the chicken and beef had spoiled. We promptly cancelled our main ordered and complained to the management. The management refused to try the food personally and instead assured us that it had been cooked at 2pm that day (we went to the restaurant at 7pm). When asked about the food having spoiled prior to cooking, the management assured us that chicken/meat was delivered every food days. We didn't want to take any chances and so we left. It's too bad that there hadn't been any previous reviews on this restaurant. Btw, they also serve full alcohol at this restaurant.
Imagine coming home from a long trip and being welcomed back by your family with incredible food. That is what it's like going to Indian Punjabi Clay Oven. My wife and I came here for the Christmas Eve dinner buffet and it was incredible! This was the best food I have had in a long, long time. The owner and chef meticulously crafts each dish to have the perfect blend of spices, heat, and texture. Speaking of texture - the naan bread was lightly crispy on one side, puffy on the other and brushed with the perfect amount of butter. The rice was cooked perfectly! I cannot stress this enough everything was cooked perfectly. I tried everything at the buffet... If it were a bigger buffet I'd be doomed. The standout for me were the Beef Vindaloo and the Paneer Masala. The beef melted in your mouth. The mix of savouriness and sourness balanced the dish perfectly! The Paneer Masala was decadent, the cheese was soft and the sauce was silky. Folks, it gets better. The staff and service was top notch! It seriously feels like hanging out with family and close friends. Everyone is so welcoming and warm. My wife and I were surprised with a tour of the kitchen and a demonstration of how the naan is cooked in the clay oven. It was such a privilege to get to meet and get to know these incredible people. It sincerely felt like going to my mom's house for dinner (if she cooked the best Indian food ever). The prices are also fantastic! I would happily pay far more for a buffet of this caliber. It was such a great experience and my wife and I can't wait to come back!
