Taftan Kabab

We use Taftan kebob take outs regularly. Doing my own little BBQ backyard I know delivering same kebob tenderness and juiciness every time is next to impossible unless your meat is always from same age kattle of same farm marinated and cooked by the same guy the same way etc etc. Truth is 4 out of 5 times we are happy with the food and on the balance of things I'll keep buying from them as long as kebobs don't shrink in size or lose quality. Except the time they screwed up the 4-person and 6-person deals it appears they have made an effort to keep prices reasonable. If anything they can let the salad go as it's well beyond the expiry point from a variety and taste perspective.

There are many options along Yonge street and this place is one of my favourites. The major reason is the late hours. It really comes down to who will cook the food so it's a hit and miss. Overall will go back.

Food is great, prices are decent, portions are generous, service is fast, place is always busy, and staff are always working hard. Lots of things on the menu as well, and you'll want to try a little of everything. ps. dining area is tiny. This is purely a take-out joint.

Always tender and juicy! Generous portions! I always ask for Tadig, she always looks at me funny as I am not Iranian lol.

Every time I come to TO I always stop to eat here. Place is always packed. There is limited room for sit down. Portions are generous and price is good. Food is always good.

the ultimate testament to Taftan Kebab is the fact that this place has been chock-full of Iranian customers everytime we've gone. in an area where there is no shortage of Persian restaurants, this speaks to the authenticity of the food at this kebab joint

Best kebab place in Richmond Hill BUT a take-out. One iranian place I trust to be halal. The owner is there at the back with large orders he will work a deal.
