Good food.
Small restaurant, but clean. Always had good experience with staff and food quality. The crispy beef is very good and so are the Hakka noodles. Dishes are prepared fresh and portions are very large.
Thanks a lot for serving Hand Slaughtered Zabiha halal meat. Food is great price, taste great and above all its Hand Slaughtered zabiha halal. Thanks again and I will spread the word.
This is a response to Ibnbatuta-usa. Could you please state your source? There are signs posted at the store which state "100% Zabiha". Additionally, there is a poster specifically advertising that their chicken is hand slaughtered (As-Salaam brand.)
Food is not up to par with other halal chinese places in the area. Wanted to like it, so tried few different dishes but everything was just average tasting.
I eat here very often. Very good food and friendly owners. Seating is limited but will return to this place for the service they provide. Portions are generous and price is alright. I would like to see an improvement in ingredients used. Usage of all no GMO products. That goes for all Halal restaurants. I know which means the price will go up but that's okay with me.
The food is very good, but the restaurant is mainly take-out due to very limited seating and take-out style serving (even if you choose to dine-in). Be aware that their prices can be very steep for some items, mainly because some items are larger portions.
Food is mediocre. Sweet & Sour Chicken uses a very low-grade chicken; there is a lot of fiber and half of it is not very edible. Also there is no pineapple in the Sweet & Sour chicken and the carrots also taste very low grade. Service is very good though. OK place when you're in a bind. There's a halal Indian restaurant across the street if you want some variety.
I tried almost everything on the menu, and was disappointed that they were all below average compared to a non-halal restaurant (halal chicken vs. shrimp or veggie). We've had some good halal Chinese places in the past, but they're all gone. It's still not bad for a one time experience. The seating is limited as they are more of a carryout.
Great food, great service. I've ordered take out twice form this place and both times the food was great, alhamdulillah. It also taste good as left overs.
I had their Hakka crispy chicken and general tso chicken , it was to die for! It was delicious ! Their portions are enormous and the prices are value for your money! They even have lunch specials on Monday to Friday for 6.95 for me! I'm so glad they opened here in Silver Spring . We really needed a good Chinese Halal restaurant . They are going to be our new go to restaurant now! I love that they have a open kitchen concept where everything is made fresh and everything is so clean!
We have been there twice in one week. Tried general tso's, Kung Pao and hakka crispy chicken. They all were very tasty. Nice clean place. Highly recommended.
Excellent food. It's about time to have a nice Halal chinese restaurant in the DC metro! My wife loved the sweet and sour chicken. I loved my chicken and shrimp lo mein. The tea was really good (aloe and mango). Service is really good. Facility is clean. Highly recommended.
This place is good. Owned by the same folks that own Manadarin Islamic Chinese in Springfield, VA. The menu is limited, and this place is basically a take-out joint, however, the food is still tasty. I recommend.
The place is basically set up as a carryout restaurant with limited seating space. We should only be expecting fast food like services. Food is good. Very much close to typical american chinese food. Anyone expecting pakistani chinese will be disappointed.
Food was good and they replaced the soy sauce. Very friendly staff. My first time going there, looking forward to going again:)
I have not eaten there yet. I called them before I drove out there only to find out they use soy sauce that contains alcohol. The person on the phone said they will replace the soy sauce, but have yet to do so. Those who I know that ate there enjoyed it so far (before the soy sauce delima)
I was excited about halal Chinese, but the food is very very disappointing. It was so bad that a single take-out was enough of an experience. The food was stale! The rice was under-cooked. Chicken Manchurian had something that was neither chicken nor the batter. I will save my time, money and energy and never return to this restaurant.
