Shah's Halal Cart

There are several carts here, in fact 3 carts and one truck now. The three carts are Shah's halal food. The best of the three is the one closest to Horace Harding, the one across from Kelly is not good and the cart outside the student union is okay. As a long time QC student, take my advice, if your in the area and hungry go the the Halal Cart by Horace Harding and Kissena Blvd.

Ate from here a couple of times. The food was good the first few times but after a while it became tasteless.. The chicken started to taste like your eating a chunk if paper the lamb jus tastes like every other gyro lamp and the rice isn't any better.. I don't know if the owner changed or they just gave up on quality and flavor but its not anywhere near 5 stars anymore

My husband like this gyro better than Jackson heights. I like it too for the price is not bad an their rice are good as well!

The food here is awesome. By far the best vendor food in queens. The lamb is very soft and smells great. The chicken is marinated well with a pinch of onion on the top. The taste is just awesome. If you are a frequent customer you won't have to wait on the long line and you will always get extra food. You can also call ahead to place your order at 917 348 0256.

Their chicken and rice is excellent, almost as good as Chicken Guy in Manhattan. They use Afghan rice instead of the regular yellow rice, which is a nice change. Their white sauce and hot sauce are very good. Good chicken gyros too. Conveniently located by the main entrance of Queens College.
