AK Café

After seeing many 5 stars we decided to give a shot to this place. That's a pity what i eat (kusbasi pide) was terrible. Service is also ignorant as well. I don't advice..

Love their lentil soup, baked potatoes and Profiteroles.

The AK burger is pretty good, but make sure you tell them how you like it as sometimes the meat is a little tough, but it's probably one of the best non processed burgers you'll get in NNJ. Mixed grill is good but standards have dropped. Desserts are great and a great selection. Service is generally pretty good

AK Burger and some deserts are really good. Mix grill is way over priced and sucks, very disappointed with amount of rice and flavor of the meat. Service is OK

Service was amazing. Sandwiches were great, portions were large and filling also.

Amazing food! Great prices and atmosphere. Very family friendly and would go back there again. Filet Mignon was AMAZING!

Food is phenomenal! Prices are awesome too, but they recently went up! Mixed grills give lots of meat, but not too much rice. Their apple fries are delicious!

The quality of food is great. Their Lentil soup is probably the best around. Tried it at a few famous places in Istanbul but this one is the best. Halloumi salad ,mixed grill, pides and not to forget the sandwiches. Very friendly staff and a piece of advice-- Desserts are something to die for. Two thumbs up.

Went today (6/3). We odered mix platter. Very good food in excellent atmosphere. Prices are also reasonable.

Good breakfast options but be careful not to order too much. The breakfast platter (which comes with plenty of bread) is enough for two light eaters or one heavy eater. Lunch entrees looked very good, as did the desserts, but I was there for breakfast.

My wife and I were debating whether to eat here since it is relatively new compared to most of the Muslim restaurants in the area. We were very pleasantly surprised at the comfortable ambiance and wide menu variety of reasonably priced cuisines, amazing deserts, salads and drinks. The food tasted exceptionally well and was served quickly (presentation of the food was fantastic and surprising). The best thing of all was the INCREDIBLE outrageously good desserts (you'll have to go there and try for yourself!). Would highly recommend and plan on going again soon! And if you get a chance - you MUST try the breakfast menu (incredibly good).

In an area inundated with some good Turkish restaurants, AK shows how one can succeed even in a saturated market. AK Café, focuses on those food items that other Turkish restaurants in Paterson do not offer. Hence at AK you will find i) Great "Meal Replacement" snacks; ii) Out of this world Breakfast and iii) Deserts that you will only find in Turkish homes. BTW, they also do the mainstream Kebabs & Lamachun very well. Go there for i) Menamen (heavenly scrambled eggs); ii) Pumpkin Desert; and iii) Toasts . Too bad they have discontinued the craze of Beyoglu (Istanbul), "Wet Burger".

I was a little skeptical going in there because it's a new place but I am a believer now. Food is great and with such reasonable prices you can't go wrong. Decor is nice and a place where I wouldn't mind taking my family.

This had to be one of the best resturants in the area. Food is fantasic; desserts amazing; and of course the employees are so much more than gracious. This is an incredible resturant and bakery. Don't pass it up!
