The food is ok. I come every few days, but the servers are rude last time I waited 20 mins to be seated then a couple came in and they seated right away. The server claimed that he thought I\'m waiting for someone.. I\'m not returning to this disrespectful restaurant.
I have been here for lunch and dinner several times. The restaurant is very nice and clean and the food is absolutely very tasty - authentic Turkish. My favorite is the lamb chops and kefta kabobs. The lentil soup is a good appetizer.
Great food, great service.
Phenomenal restaurant. Great food. The shwarma is great. Fresh baked bread. They are stingy on the white sauce. But ask for it and they will provide it and it is real yogurt with dill and cucumber. Great complimentary tea. If you are in the area this is a definite pit stop. Close to 95. It has phenomenal decor. The place seats around 100 people.
[Update June 2013]: Dont get me wrong, the food is great, but I will not be returning. The ladies who take your orders could not be more gloomy or rude...they gave me a shawarma with no sauce whatsoever and when I asked for a small bit of yogurt sauce they wanted to charge me 75 cents--needless to say I was not going to return to my car to get my purse for 75 cents, especially when I just dropped $20 there. Also will not let you order baklava by the piece, only 4 at a time, and they are like $1.25 a piece!] When it was time to ring up she excused herself, and went and did a few other chores leaving us standing there. Really? You cant just ring us up and then do those things? They have zero personality.
My favorite Turkish restaurant in town. Love their food and service. My only concern is that they entertain alcohol on premise. They don't serve but they allow customers to bring with them. I hope they would stop this some day.
Came on a Friday night and the place was super packed! Had to wait a couple minutes for a table, but it was totally worth it! I've had hummus from hundreds of places, and this is the best I've had in my whole life! The service and decor are great and so is all the food! So what if they allow people to bring their own alcohol? We go to gas stations and even work in places that sell alcohol and we don't cry foul then? Think about it! Overall, awesome and really easy to find on a map!
We stopped by here on our way back from NYC to Boston. It is a great place; lots of room and nicely decorated. The food was excellent. We ordered Yogurtlu Shish Kebab and one of the combo kebabs; everything was very tasty. The hosts were nice and friendly and the decor was impressive. This was my first experience with Turkish food and I became a fan after eating here.
Nice restaurant.Nice ambience. The was a bit high. But the food was ok.
ITS EXCELLENT My Husband and I loved this place...amazing food, great decor and ambuence, lovely friendly servic. Great place to take friends and visitors...You should try it...the money is sure worth it and they have pretty large portions. We took one entree home as we couldn't finish both!
My husband and I are regulars at this place. We spotted it on zabihah.com and decided to check it out. It's out of our way, but well worth the 18 mile trip to get our weekly dose of meat. We've practically tried everything on the menu and have picked up food once or twice. Ambience, decor, service and of course the food makes this THE best Turkish restaurant this side of CT.
Delicious Turkish kebabs. Try their iskender kebab (gyro with yogurt) and lahmacun (turkish style pizza). Very nice ambiance. No alcohol served, all meals are halal, and the owners are practising Muslims.
Went here for a birthday party. We had 12 or so people. I arrived with a few others Our tables were ready. The atmosphere is open, yet cozy. I felt like they probably get a lot of regulars in here. I got a look at some of the food on display, looked very good. We all sat and got started on our drinks. Our server was pretty amazing. And two things I loved right off the bat: no QR menu, and even as a large party, we could get our own bills - just the gratuity would be larger and automatically added. Love it! My friend is pretty picky eater, had a lot of questions. Our server was patient and extremely helpful. We all ordered different dishes, I got the grilled bronzini. I also ordered falafel as a starter. And I got the Turkish coffee. I wanted to taste all the authentic meals and drinks! So the falafel - well, I was hoping it would be great, but it just wasn't. Even my friend tried it, we both made the same face. It was missing something - SEASONING. even the sauce was so bland. I sprinkled salt and pepper and voila, it was decent. Needless to say, though, we didn't finish it. The Turkish coffee was the tiniest, cutish, little thing I've ever saw. The cup it was served in was beautiful. It was pretty good. Caffeine has opposite effect on me, so later that night, I slept like a baby! Lol...my bronzini was good. I had to put the utensils down and man handle it. Thank goodness I was amongst friends 🧡. I left nothing left but the head and tail. I would order that again. The salad that came with it was a LOT of parsley (not even chopped), a bunch of shredded carrots, and a little pickled cabbage. I could eat the cabbage all day- why give so little?? My friend had got a salad with her meal, and barely got any romaine, again, a lot of parsley. She looked at the romaine leaf my fish was on and said, "there's my salad!" We bought cupcakes for the birthday, but again, i wanted the turkish experience. I got three baklava. It was delicious! It had pistashio instead of walnut like with Greek version. And not as sweet either - very good. I should've gotten the chocolate one too! We were having a great time, but then we were asked to keep out volume down because there was a baby sleeping in their carriage at another table. It was 10pm at this point. We were a bit taken aback by that but wrapped it up shortly after that request. Will I go back? I probably would. There were other things on menu I'd try. Despite that incident in the end, I did enjoy the ambiance and service. The place was clean, bathroom decent, ample parking.
