While the restaurant has nice decor, the staff have, unfortunately, behaved quite rudely on repeated occasions, especially towards Hijabis (as reported by numerous Muslim women). Also, unfortunately, they give dubious answers about their Halal status, and so it\'s considered doubtful by many local Muslims who are conscientious about eating Halal.

I very nice restaurant if you have the money. It is definately upscale. An assortment of Yale students can be seem there on any night. The food is great but pricey. Alcohol is servered but it is not an issue for me. I have been there with my family and children but it is more appropriate for a good date night. Parking is street only and in New Haven that is a problem. Try a nearby parking garage.
