Pizza here is not bad at all and close to where I live. I've asked for the halal beef when ordering but curious if the chicken is halal too? At the time I was told only the beef was so most days I just order plain or go for the veggie pizzas. In all honesty I think being strictly halal wouldn't hurt business !

Ordered from here on Friday 10/14/11. Got two large pizzas, one pepperoni and the other chicken. Paid about $20 spread among five friends - not bad. (The woman behind the counter said they usually don't give discounts for halal pizzas. I feel lucky.) The quality was very good - right amount of cheese, and crust was cooked perfectly. The pepperoni was a bit small, but it was tasty. The chicken was great - no complaints. The only complaint I have was that the pizzas were a bit smaller than expected. As for the service, the person on the phone knew they served halal meat, but did not know the difference between halal (no pork) and zabiha. A helpful suggestion would be to train the person answering the phone to answer competently when someone asks if they serve zabiha meat. On the whole, I'd go here again.

We are regulars here and their pizza is very delicious. Highly recommend the Hawaiian BBQ pizza along with the Garlic Chicken.

The owners are known Muslims but unfortunately they currently do NOT use Zabihah meant. (I have had their veggie pizzas and they are decent.) I would encourage as many Muslims as possible to inquire and suggest the owner to use Zabihah meat so inshallah he will see the demand and benefit.

i hope that the owner does not continue to use the excuse that it is difficult to find halal meat and therefore, after consultation with a sheikh, the sheikh said it is OK to use non-halal meat. i believe another pizza restaurant owned by a muslim brother just off santa teresa blvd serves halal meat. please ask them where they get their meat from. i did buy 3 vegetarian type pizzas from them to show my support in the hopes of them really buying halal meat sometime in the future. i don't think it is impossible to find halal pizza related meat. i was recently informed that quite a few respected members of the community, supports the consumption of non-halal meat. goodness, look around you - there are tons of halal restaurants and muslim butchers. yes, it may be more expensive but don't you think it's worth the cost rather than having to answer for it on judgement day? this is all up to one's interpretation of what is written in the Quran. My understanding is that you only eat non-halal meat if you are about to die of starvation. Absent this circumstance, there's always seafood and vegetarian dishes. hopefully the mosques will have the courage to talk about eating halal during Friday khutbahs and not be afraid of any backlash. imams always talk about unity and that it all begins with the individual. well, eating correctly is part of strengthening one's Din. i ask the owner to keep looking and wish the owner success in the business.

I know the brothers who run this place and they are well known in the local area. They serve halal chicken and ground beef pizzas by special order. They prefer 48 hour notice for Halal orders. Even though they do not have full halal menu, they do NOT serve any pork or pig products on their pizzas at all. Please support them, so InshAllah they will have more Halal meat items and eventually can go full Halal. The Chicken Fajita Pizza is recommended.
