Unfortunately the food is really good but the meat is not zabihah halal! My husband saw that they use foster farms wings and I called and asked if it was halal and they said yes, but I emailed foster farms and they said no. I am upset because we ate here on several occasions.

Not everything is halal all the time. Be sure to ask if the meat is zabiha halal. Ordered the Pizza Sub sandwich, which I confirmed was zabihah halal. However, I decided against eating it because the sandwich comes with marinara sauce and the worker said the meatballs are not halal so I figured they used the same non halal sauce for my sandwich. Just double check before ordering.

Unfortunately not all the meat served is Zabihah per one of the main workers. I asked if they have Halal Pepperoni and he said "It is not Zabihah". I asked him what is and he said the burgers are, so I ordered a cheeseburger. It was pretty good and came with fries. This is more of a take out place although they have some limited seating. The neighborhood is not very good as others have described already.

Great food, not great neighborhood. We walked under the yellow police tape to get past an active murder scene to get inside the restaurant. But once we were there, we were most pleased. Their pizza features generous portions of meat and sauce. The crust is thicker than average and quite flavorful. The beef pepperoni doesn't cup and bleed grease all over the place. Chicken wings were spicy and meaty. Awesome cheesecake, and a free 2-liter bottle of soda to complement the meal. And as we paid about $10 less for a gourmet pizza than we would in other places, I'll give them an "A" for value. Yeah, we'll definitely return, hopefully on a more peaceful day.

They interchange between buying halal meat and haram meat and they do so often in the owners belief, all meat is considered halal beacause they say it was cut by Jews or Christians. First hand experience; I think the owners are good people but I also think they are extremely misguided.
