Delicious and very well seasoned meats! Rice is always perfect. The portions are good for what you pay for. I don't agree that it is expensive - it's average in my opinion. However, I do agree that you do feel like an outside if you are not afghan, but hey the food be tasting good so I'll overlook that! ***Update*** They are now located inside the Kohl's plaza, next to It's a Grind coffee shop. This location is waaay better and I like the outdoor available seating.

I went to this place while visiting a friend in Sacramento. I fell in love with their Kabuli pulao and I only ate just that all the three days that I was there. My only wish is that Afghans should open some restaurants in OC as well.

I went to this place with my family, at their new location. Food was bad service is horrible the waitress finally decided to come take our order and then dropped the food plates on the table and left. She never came back to ck on us my kids needed additional plates, silverware I finally got up and helped myself. My opinion do not waste your time, and money. Go to chopan or Ariana but if u want great food and service go shirzad

This place is going down in rumbles, The owner (the older bald man) is well known in the Afghan community...I was in the restaurant a couple of times and all he does is talk and spread rumors about one Afghan customer to the other...This is the one reason I do not go to eat here. He is very GAP GOI! He is not professional and can not take criticism well when as a customer you complain about the food, or the horrible service they provide. Honestly I do not go there anymore because the appearance of the old man makes me lose my appetitie.

I recently stopped there on the way to LA from Vancouver, BC. I ordered Lamb Kabab and Mixed kabab and both were very tasty and quantity was huge. This is probably best kebabs I have had anywhere. I will definitely stop there next time i drive through Sacramento.

Food is good. especially their grilled kabobs. But very pricey. 13 dollars for 2 kabobs and serving of boiled rice. Yes they serve halal but so does every other muslim restaurant from NY to LA. I been to tons of halal restaurants but places like this one is highway robbery in bright daylight. I hope we muslims quit robbing each other in the name of halal.

The food is great, not a lot of variety and a bit pricey but the chicken was melt in your mouth. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere bright and cheery. I really enjoyed my meal.

Excellent, tastey! Expensive...especially if you are brining the family. Large portions, you can share...You will really enjoy that it is clean, but they don't offer air condition in my experience, staff not that friendly if you are "not afghan", takes a while to get the food. GREAT!

Assalam-o-alaikum. Very friendly staff and clean place! We went in for the first time and enjoyed the food very much. Maybe a little pricey, but its worth it. Try out the various kabobs, and especially the aloo paratha. Tastes very good!

Good food but the only bad thing is i can call up 40 minites in advance and i still have to wait 15 minutes for my food to be ready. Other than that everything else is great.

Good little restaurant with a good menu, I especially like the Chapli Kabob. Very clean and tidy. It is a convenient location (Intersection of Franklin and Laguna, between I-5 and 99) but can't be seen from either street, it is behind the Walgreens shopping center. The local non-Muslims seem to enjoy it as well.

Nice, clean restaurant offers wide variety of Afghan dishes including tikka, seekh, chicken, chaplee kabobs, bolani and more.. Extended menu for weekends. Everything was very tasty and the service was sxcellent. Fresh Afghan bread also available. Customer can also call in and place the order over the phone for pickup. Convenient location, accessible from I-5, I-99.
