New Makkah Halal Meat & Grocery

This place has a hand slaughter certificated posted in the store. HMA is by no means an indication of whether a place is halal. Per their website, a bunch of places in Scarborough are not just because they do not pay HMA. Clean place, they remove extra fat on request, and has quick turnaround.

Firstly, I'm sure the business is called ' New Makkah Halal Meat &Grocery.This store has amazing service and products available at this store. I totally trust the owners and know they provide 100% halal meat. In my views HMA (halal monitoring authority) is just a business, from speaking to few different store owners and knowing a large supplier in the market, they are just double dipping and charging the slaughter houses, distributors/middlemen, and the store owners and only stamp products going to stores that are paying them, and claiming other stores are selling so called 'non-halal' products.
