The food was very expensive and the portions so small, we could not believe our eyes. The food was dry, bland and tasteless. The posiive reviews are either fake or the people who wrote them have never tasted real Pakistani food before. Worse, this place serves alcohol and I can not trust that they even serve halal. It was my first shocking experience of alcohol being served freely in a supposedly "halal" restaurant, in all of North America. Those who care about halal food, should stay away from this place. I will never go back to this restaurant again.

Shahi Palace has the best butter chicken in town. It is different from all other restaurants that serve Butter chicken. Although it is more expensive than surrounding Pakistani restaurants, you can fill your belly with a wonderful meal for under $15 (way cheaper than other non pakistani restaurants!)

Unfortunately the original owners had sold this place a couple of years ago and the food quality then went down the drain. But the original owners are now back and the food is back to being excellent. The prices are a little higher than most Pakistani restaurants but it is absolutely worth it. Their chicken rolls, butter chicken and naan are a must try.

They were known for the best chicken rolls. Sadly, they are a thing of the past. I think the chef now works over at Moti Mehal on Jean-Talon & L'Acadie. Alcohol served unfortunately.

One of the best indian restaurants in the West Island, and probably all of Montreal. The butter chicken is great and the meat samosas are a must have!

Excellent food and service. Absolutely love the butter chicken - but my all-around favorite are the new beef samosas!

This restaurant got a good review in Montreal's Gazette and it deserves it. Their naan is really good.
