The menus at this restaurant clearly state that Halal food is served. Several dishes (including bone-in chicken and lamb) are clearly labeled Halal on the menu.
At Moby Dick House of Kabob, our purpose is to create and serve food that you love and crave. Our food includes slow-braised stews and flame-grilled meats, house-made signature seasonings and marinades, and fresh whole pita bread baked in a traditional clay oven.

I don't like it! They only have 2 halal options! I am so disappointed. Really? Just remove this from halal option, then. And the kabob doesn't taste good anyway. I can find nicer one with the same price.
I went here sometime back but didn't know the meat was Zabihah -- I ended up only having the eggplant. The service was pretty good and it had a nice setting. I will have to return to try their other items now that is seems that their menu is Zabihah (I would still verify before ordering).
Not the best Kubideh in the area, but not bad. A real good lunch option. I have been to their other locations, but go here more because it is close to my work.
Doesn't meet the hype but the food is still decent. Kinda pricey though otherwise.
In DC for just a few hours. Called today before going they assured me lamb was halal, and upon entrance I saw the halal sign next to the lamb on the menu. Of course there is also fish and falafel
Sadly, the restaurant owner first told me about 6 months ago and confirmed with me last week that the lamb is no longer halal (and none of the other meat ever was). I have eaten at Moby's many times throughout the years and always enjoy it though.
I actually just called them and they said none of their locations serve halal meat. I used to eat the lamb often for lunch, but I guess I can't do that now. The food was great:-(
Regular Persian food. I wasn't blown away.
The food here is wonderful. I know persian food, and this is the best you can get unless your maman is cooking at home.
Moby Dick (which is a chain) used to have halal lamb only. We went there a few months ago, and the owner was very good and told us that their lamb is no longer halal, and that this is true for each store in the chain. So, this place is no longer under halal category (however, they have fish, which is halal anyway).
