We ate at Holy Land restaurant after a number of years. They have expanded the place and renovated it. It was very dos ivied, clean and well-lit. The menu has been completely revamped: they have burgers, gyro dishes, rotisserie chicken and Persian platters. The koobeideh kebabs platter with sumac rice was the best. Bread was good too. Would definitely go back. Price was reasonable and service was very good.

Food tastes good and service is average. Don't be fooled by the comments on portion size; very little meat but way too much rice.

One word.... awesome! Great fast service. Clean place. Tastiest food...right prices and portions.....these folks are out there to make sure you leave happy and satisfied. Greek chicken was awesome and nothing comes close to the mix grill platter. Their sauce is awesome too. Will definitely visit them next time i am in Minneapolis,MN.

As a local, I get the following items mostly: Burgers, Philly Sandwich (both chicken & steak), Rotisserie chicken, they also have a kid's menu..Buy all my meat products from here as well..their grocery store has deli meats too..can find Beef Jerky here as well..they also have daily lunch and dinner buffet..overall it's probably the only one-stop place for muslims in the twin cities:)

Portions are huge. At first we thought 8$ for a gyro was ridiculously expensive until we saw it's size! And they're packed w/meat. Usually places rip u off with mostly lettuce and a few veggies and sprinkling of meat. But here u definitely get ur moneys worth. I would even suggest that they scale back on the meat and add a few more healthy greens, just to be more balanced. We also like the buffet and grocery department but it's crowded wherever/whenever u go.

It is always crowded with shoppers. Every thing that you need is available here. But everything comes with a price. The food is moderately expensive. The restaurant part of the establishment is not great. The quality of food is mediocre. The service though is quick.

I think this is safest bet in twin cities, i did not care for buffet but gyros and sandwitches are good. And they have maintained there quality for many many years. Especially nice when you are geeting meet and its right there for a quick bite.

The place needs cleaning. I was looking at the buffet and there were too many signs! One of the signs reads something like "Management has the right to limit food quantity". Even though I arrived there at 10 P.M. I ordered Gyro beef sandwich, it was huge (which you eat on a plate) and the portion of fries was huge too! I think the place is over rated if you ask me! The food isn't middle eastern it is more like Greekish!

Kabobs, falafels and gyros are always great here. I never liked their buffet (other than a few items). So, whenever we go there, we usually order something from their menu and we were not disappointed. Price is very reasonable considering the amount and quality of food.

Great food in a friendly, cafeteria-style atmosphere. My non-Muslim friends (who brought me there) say it's the best shawarma they've ever had and make a point of visiting frequently. I visited while on vacation and especially liked the attached market where I could find most of the groceries I needed. Portions were huge and the price was right. Would recommend for families with children looking for an affordable, casual dining experience.

This store houses by large the biggest variety of Middle-Eastern items in comparison to ALL other stores in the State Of Minnesota. No matter what you're looking for in terms of Middle Eastern food items, you can be 99.99% sure that you'll find it at the Holy Land. The items are generally speaking very fresh. I haven't seen anything old in that store. However, if I may get by with a little constructive critisizm on this site, I'd say that the deli section of the store can use a little improvement. It's not that the food it bad quality. On the contrary, the food is awesome taste-wise. The only problem with it is that it doesn't really taste Middle Eastern at all. It tastes somewhere between Arabic, Indian, Greek, & Turkish, with a very strong tilt in the scale towards the Greek side.
