Wally's Gyros-n-Subs

I was driving through Jacksonville and this was the closest place near the mosque I stopped for prayers. It looked like rough part of town and the plaza it is in looked almost empty. I almost missed it, there is only a small sign. On the inside it is a small place. I ordered a philly sandwich with fries and drink which was ready when I got there, I think under 15 mins and it was good and for $10.65. It was certainly better compared to what we have in our area and certainly cheaper. If i am in the area i will try it again.

ordered the steak and cheese with fries and drink combo. excellent, quick service. good food and nice staff.

I went there with my friends out of town, we ordered wings and philli steaks, tabouli , hummus and other things.The food came we were hungry the wings were so bad smell like they are rotten and been cooked, the tabouli has fly in it. we show to the owner and he said sorry, but I cannot change it for you we left the shop and went to other place. Very, very and very bad experience and the owner was so rude.

Excellent variety. Wings are great, but hot sauce came on the side. Sitting area is lackluster.

Tried their burger, chicken wings and gyros, all were pretty average. The shop is not that huge but has a sitting area for food. Its a standard burger place.

Good food. Served in a clean environment.

There is not much to choose from in Jax, but Wally's is good - friendly people, tasty halal food in a clean environment. I rate this as the no.1 halal store in Jax.

This place is a grocery store that also has sandwiches etc that you can take out. I was travelling through here for work and this was the closest place. Reasonable for price but no place to really sit down. This place is in a strip mall in a run down area so it is a little hard to find from the road.

Wally's is a great treat for the Muslim community in JAX. Great place to take the kids. I love their subs and burgers. :) Good fries too. Has a nice selection of grocery items as well.

GREAT halal gyros! kibbeh, awesome philly steak sandwiches, and double cheeseburgers... also a grocery store!
