The food was okay. Too pricey for the portions you get. Jujeh was decent but the barg was subpar didn't have much flavor. Wanted to try this place. Won't be returning there's cheaper better tasting food elsewhere. Shameful halal places allowing alcohol on premises.

Food is amazing, service is great, decor is beautiful. This is an amazing place to go for a small party or dinner with the spouse or family. Food is slightly comparable to Choopan but I like Kabul a tiny bit better. However it is way more expensive than Choopan.

Restaurant is great if your looking to spend off your wallet lol, food is great but on the price a little high. It's not fast food but a good family friend restaurant.

This has been our favorite family restaurant for the past 7 years. Nice place to bring guests. It's small but nice seating, lighting, service. It's a family owned restaurant the owners are just lovely and usually there. They have excellent food! Not too pricey because your entree ($13) includes an individual salad and bread/ butter is served immediately after you order! Plus you pay for the ambiance. They have a live violin player on some nights to provide old Hindi songs. Nice touch!

The portions are super small, the food tastes decent and is nothing special. I asked for the white sauce and they CHARGED ME almost $2 for a tiny little dipping bowl. A total rip off.

Good Food, with Excellent Mouth Watering Sauces. Food portions are indeed small (I need to order a Combo/Double Meat to be full) Expensive for the amount of Portion

Been going there but stopped as they have significantly shrunk the food portions and increased the prices. The owner was always there and v friendly. The wait staff are also nice. Just disappointed, the quality and the value is no longer there.

Nice afghan food, but Ali Baba in Queens is better. Their Lamb chops are good. Nice to sit in too, even with a raging toddler. Some of the food is over-priced, but it's like 2 servings.

I dont get it! How does bland pricey food with ok service get great reviews. Smaller than my living room, the place is OVER RATED. For grilled meat, there are better restaurants on Rt 107. For persian-esque dishes this may be the place to go but meat and naan folks, head elsewhere.

I had this last night..amazing prices..amazing food..the only thing that costs this restaurant from being perfect is the service. We waited 10-15 mins before someone came over to us.

Excellent food, the best "halal" restaurant i have been to in NYC area. Try the Lawand dish or the tallapia fish special with brown rice. Pricey, but the food is great. No alcohol served but unfortunately they allow customers to bring their own

This is the number one Afghan restaurant in NY. I eat here all the time. Food is amazing and delicious. Make sure to ask for the white sauce. Looks fancy inside, but food is inexpensive. Nice place for romantic dinner.

Amazing food, Masha'Allah. The original Afghan place to hit up in LI. It's a great place for family, friends, corporate clients and even your co-workers who want to try something other than pizza! A little pricey but has by far the best environment and ambience!

Good food and in the choice in meats, including quail. Not big on desserts. They give you a little too much rice, but you definitely won't go home hungry.
