Halal Chinese, location is a little far from the main island. Food is very good. Decor could be better, but its a very good place to have Halal Chinese in Hong Kong. Highly recommend.

This place serves good halal chinese style food. Signature dish is Veal Goulash....almost every patron(locals or tourists) orders a plate with some other dishes like Sweet & Sour Chicken/Fish, Beef Brisket Curry and Noodle soup. The only setback for us is language as we don't speak Cantonese or Mandarin but there's a picture menu to order from.

We visited Islam Food recently and I have to generally concur with the reviews posted below. The decor is somewhat lacking being more akin to a greasy spoon cafe but whatver it lacks in looks it makes up for in service and food which were both excellent. It is indeed very busy with long queues of locals waiting to be served which is always a good sign. I would personally recommend the sweet and sour chicken and beef with onions. Make sure you have the veal goulash as a starter.

Alhamdulillah the food at this place is absolutely the best and filled with Barakah. Everything we ordered tasted good. We had to go back the second day for dinner on our 2 day trip. The Veal Goulash was the best. Their service was very good. We had to wait about 20 minutes outside to get a seat as it was crowded. A lot of non-muslim Chinese was at this place. They have a bigger restaurant walking distance away. Absolutely the best.

Well, the proof is in the pudding. In this case, the restaurant was filled with non-muslim chinese (as far as I could tell), eating chinese food there, so you can imagine how good the food was there. Almost everyone going there had curry and another dish (my wife thinks its veal goulash but I think its beef patties). We ate there twice, and ate at their satelite restaurant a few streets over once - 33-35 Tak Ku ling road, tel 2382 1882. The other shop is larger and nicer, but the menu's in english are not quite the same and the workers didn't know much english. The food was great though. The place was packed, with people lined up to eat there. From Royal plaza hotel its around a HK$30 taxi fare each way. Definitely worth it. For a family of 4 we spend around HK$200 - 250 there. Not bad considering how much food we ate! My wife loved the sweet and sour chicken, I loved the chicken cashew nuts and my kids the chicken curry. They have a website - www.islamfood.biz.com.hk but it caters to chinese only.

the only place (besides the no. 23, lung kong rd) that sells authentic chinese cuisine, HALAL. a bit far from town, but worth it. Take MTR to Wong Tai Sin Station and cab to Lung Kong Rd. It's in Kowloon City area, many Thai restos too here. Will definitely reckon to all Chinese food lovers (DUN eat at Chungking Mansion, EXPENSIVE & SUCKS!).

Excellent food, don't forget to try their specialty - fried beef dumpling - crusty on the outside but juicy on the inside, yummy! A bit far from the city centre, though, at Kowloon City. But if you can get your orientation right, its just near the Old Kaitak Airport.

Premises are clean, although you may have to share a table. Food is very tasty though and they serve a wide variety.

GoogleWe saw Islam Food Since 1950 on TikTok and noticed many good reviews, so we decided to give it a try during our Hong Kong trip. When you arrive, you need to take a queue number first and inform the staff how many pax are dining in. After that, just wait for your number to be called. The system is quite straightforward and organized. We ordered Pan Fried Beef Bun, Fried Noodle with Shredded Chicken and Shredded Beef Curry Fried Rice. Everything we ordered was really tasty and full of authentic flavour. The Pan Fried Beef Bun was juicy and crispy on the outside. The fried noodles were fragrant and comforting, while the curry fried rice had a rich taste that made every bite satisfying. Most importantly, the food is halal, which makes it even better for us. It’s not always easy to find authentic halal local food, so this place truly stood out. Honestly, I think I will miss this food whenever I think of Hong Kong. It left such a memorable impression on us. Definitely recommended if you’re visiting!
