I have known Sulaiman the owner for some time now. He is a good business man and has taken over Shalimar. He is usually very busy and you may have to wait for a while to get served. His quality of meat is good, albeit, a little more expensive than a few other places. One advantage is that Sulaiman is a good, knowledgeable buthcher and you can ask him to give you a particular cut such as chuck, flank, top sirloin, etc. He knows meat and will prepare it to your requirement. Note that for good tender steaks, beef has to be hung at 1 degree C for 21 days and that is something that our butchers do not do. Option for steak is to use fresh loin/fillet, though tender lacks the marbling and taste of a good top sirloin or a striploin.
