Kabul Kabab House

This is the best afghan I've ever been to. They have great chicken and salmon. Their rice is one of a kind. Their green tea is great too. The staff is really friendly

This store is very fishy. Not sure if it is actually halaal. Usually restaurants make signs saying their food is halaal, but none here. And when I asked the manager, he softly said yes. It's good to trust people, but at least in NYC, I hear that several restaurants lie about their food being halaal. Really a shame.

Amazing food and a must eat in NYC. All the kababs are amazing from the beef to the lamb and the steak meat they have is so tender and cooked to perfection. Plus there rice and yogurt sauce is something that helps make for an amazing meal.

I have gone to Afghani restaurants all over the US and Kabul Kabab still cannot be matched. The chicken as well as barg kababs are to die for. It is a medium sized place with nice decor, however parking is difficult. I did call before going last year and was told clearly that the food is halal. Alcohol is not served, but you can bring your own bottle!

Like most people said, foods amazing if you don't really care about halal-icity (lol) of food. I've been getting mixed responses from the people who work there and friends who dined there. I'd much rather eat something which I'm sure is halal, even if it's not as tasty. However, you don't really have to sacrifice taste for halal meat, as most of you know. For example, Miraj grille on Hillside Ave in Williston Park is just as good, if not better.

Please verify that they're halal before you go again. I haven't gone back in while because the last time I went, "new owners" were sitting right behind our table and drinking. That made me question the waiter/manager if they were still serving halal food, he hesitated for few and then gave that yes/no nod. At that point we were already done eating, but I did not go back since then. I used to love this place and 'till now I think I have had the best afghan good there. I sure miss it!

Over hyped food not worth the price... It's decent for eating there once in your life just to see what's inside.. Unwelcome service

Is it halal ? Some have said it isnt or there are some items that are not. Check.

Food and decor are great. The place is a bit small and the prices are high for the portions given. Give it a shot.

I luv this place. Only complain the price is too high! Their chicken Kabab, sultani, lamb chops and salmon Kabab are out of this world. They're rice are super good... Just one word to describe " love it"

Their best rice is green rice which is served on weekends. Food is great!

Although it's near my house, I never tried it till just recently, and must say, some of the best afghani ive tried. def going back. good service too, and although small, pleasant decor.

I had called in ahead and asked the manager/owner of the place about which meats were not halal. He ensured me that all the meats that they use are halal and he does not understand why anyone would say that anything on their menu is not halal. I believed him and continued to make reservations for four and one child in a stroller. The food was great and the service was nice. The waiter we had had a great disposition and took care of us with a smile. He even tried to cheer up my son who was agitated. Overall I had a great experience and I highly recommend this place.

Great food. Consistent quality. Prices have gone up a little bit. Great ice cream.

This use to be a great place excellent food, however I heard recently owners were changed and the some meats are not halal.

Great place for all kinds of Afghani Kababs. Their lamb chops were the best. Supposed to be Zabiha. Please call to verify.
