About Ravagh Persian Grill

Ravagh Persian Grill Restaurants are family owned and operated, with the first location opening in 1998. With the goal of bringing great home cooked Persian food into the lives of many New Yorkers, the Tehrani family believes that great food starts with great ingredients. With a strong attention to detail, ingredients are brought to life in delicious kabobs, stews, and dips. From Persian classics, like Kotlet and Khoresht Fesenjan, to Mediterranean favorites, like Babaganoosh and Hummus, at Ravagh, if we put it on the menu, then we know exactly what went into it, and we can assure you that it's all natural and delicious. Persian cuisine is simply prepared with great technique in order to create a wonderful balance of flavor and aroma. We hope to spread our love for Persian food to all those willing to join us at the table. Noosh-e-joon (Enjoy)!

I ordered the Barg Kabob and this was my first order ever. I didnt like their rice at all. But the meat was pretty juicy and tender. For me Persian food should have amazing white sauce and that wasnt so great either. So there food is average from my one experience.

This is an amazing Persian restaurant! I highly recommend the sultani kebab. The barg kebab is also amazing and halal steak is very rare in New York. Everything is very juicy and delicious. The portions are pretty big. Don't forget to put some of the bottled saffron on your food.. it makes the food even more superb!

Ok so I decided to give this place a try when we were in NYC. and I must say that I was not disappointed ! The meat was very tender I would highly recommend beef kobedieh. The only bad part was that the waiter rushed us to order food as soon as we came in and the food is really pricey.

Very delicious. had not eaten Iranian restaurant food for over 6 years! The Kubideh was amazing, it was almost as if you are in iran at a restaurant. The rice was also amazing and definitely worth the price (was about 13 or 14 dollars). The Ghorme Sabzi was okay, but I make better ghorme sabzi at home. over all it was amazing and definitely worth it! if you are in manhattan near by and have an order over 15 dollars delivery is free!

food is great, just pricey. i suppose they can get away with it, as there are no other persian restaurants in manhattan.

One of my favorite restaurants in the world and definitely my favorite Persian restaurant. I'm not exaggerating. I have eaten a LOT of Persian food, including in Iran and this is hands down one of the best restaurants out there. Especially the first time I went there I was totally hooked and had the most delicious meat. I am usually a fan of the Barg Kabob, and their scrumptious filet mignon meat does not disappoint. I liked the atmosphere and the staff was also friendly and it's in a good location in Manhattan. My only warning would be that the food is not the cheapest, but it's definitely worth the quality of the food.
