Al-Ameer Restaurant has a beautiful banquet facility to accommodate from 30 to 100 people. The room is ideal for meetings, showers, and rehearsal dinners.

What Paramount used to taste like before they sold out! Excellent, Fresh, TASTY Arab food, at a great price point, found in the heart of Dearborn Michigan. My family stops at this location when travelling between Chicago / Toronto. I recommend any of the platters which include a mix of different meats. The fruit drinks are great as well. The food is top notch, the best I\'ve had in a while. No Toronto Arab restaurant gets close. The service is spotty, but friendly. Areas that need improvement: general cleanliness of the establishment, and the poor quality of the prayer area.
I was surprised to see change in their food quality specially the soup, salad, and service not great, beside the Bathroom was not clean too. It used to be our number one.
Great food and excellent service. The waiter was really nice, felt bad for him bcuz he was running around and serving during ramadan. Hopefully he had chance a to open his fast. He joked with us and explained the items on the menu. Food was delicious. Would def go back.
great food and nice place after the redecoration. the service is poor as always and somehow cheep...
Not bad. Our food was pretty good. Some of the staff seemed a bit lazy, talked a lot and didn't respond to customers walking in, but others were working hard to serve their food.
I eat there every time I pass Dearborn, they serve big meals and chicken kebob is really good. The service and people are friendly.
Great place will go there anytime im in Dearborn..
All I can see this is the best sharwama place in Dearborn area we always go this al-ameer whenever we go to Michigan area From Toronto we prefer to eat at al-ameer
Went during lunch time, lunch menu was good, shwarma platter was very good and Fatoush. Place decor is nice but a bit dated.
TOP-10 IN USA VERY GOOD FOOD ZABIHAH ALL
The food is excellent and very authentic to home cooking, but even better. I particularly recommend the rice and lamb.
Went with my wife, food was okay. Wouldn't really eat here again, but at least we tried the place because so many people say its good.
I ordered a combo platter with all sort of kebabs on it. The food and service was good. The waiter was helpful with the order.
We had a large family platter with assorted kebabs and tikkas and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was very good too. Anthony Bourdain tried the raw kebbie plate here in an episode of his show.
The best bread in Dearborn, very authentic. I have been there at least 10 times and found the service to be just fine. Their grape leaves are very tasty.
Fresh bread, excellent salads, great shawarmas & grilled chicken. Best arabic taste in town.
The service was bad from when we asked for directions to get there (we drove from Ann Arbor, it should have taken 30-40 minutes but it took us 1.5 hours). They gave us completely wrong directions, even after calling multiple times for help. I thought this was a bad sign and did not want to go anymore, but everyone else did not feel like going somewhere else. We did not get our complimentary bread and water until we asked for it and waited till we were almost done with our food. Everyone else around us did not have this problem, so this differential treatment made us feel worse. I will not go there again.
It is the default resteruant my family and in laws go to in dearborn if we can not decide anywhere else. The service is suspect at times but the food is consistently good! Fresh bread is very good and very nice family atmosphere. Recommend to dine in! We enjoy the Al-Ameer platter which includes many meats, salads and sides!
I have been to this restaurant a few times but off peak hours and service has never been an issue. On the other hand, the chicken kafta that I ordered was not fully cooked and I had to send it back. Waitress was unemotional about it and unapologetic. Cream of chicken chop is a good choice. The rest of the food are just ok.
Good food. SHAWERMAs are the best.
I have been going to this restaraunt for a while. everytime i go to detroit. Food is good and staff is good. We like the Al-Ameer platter. always assumed it was halal, never asked
The food at Al-Ameer is average. The service is horrible. Our waiter was slow in bringing our appitizers. He seemed to be in a hurry, although he was waiting on only one other table. This was my first time, and LAST time to go to Al-Ameer.
I frequently eat the local Dearborn area Mideastern restaurants. Al-Ameer seems to have the best Fatoush salad. Try the Grilled chiken(with bone), Shish kafta and Lamb chops.
"Good food. Remember, always ask if its halal/zabihah if you're going to a restaurant for the first time."
