the meat, when it is availaible at Mona's Cafe, is not Zabiha. The lamb occasionally is. The owners are great Muslims, however, they help out the local MSA's. Not zabiha, but still one of the best Middle Eastern places in NOLA

I usually go there to buy Halal meat.It may not be the cleanest halal meat place around.There meat prices are reasonable.I would recommend for buying halal meat.As there are hardly any other Halal meat shops around

Owned by a Lebanese Muslim, all food served in cafe and sold in grocery is halal. Price range is variable. Serves both Middle Eastern and American meals, all Halal.
