Shishkabob House

They are closed on Mondays. I had the chicken kabob and it was very good.

very good and tasty food. we are visiting new orleans and wanted to eat halal food, so went there. it was not super busy . but they had a lot of take out orders. Food portions were very good. we would definitely come back.

I read about this Restaurent so decided to eat there. Food was excellent but there was no customer service as there was big group came for a birthday party. Was disappointed

It's nice food

Very friendly staff and clean place to eat. Portions are big and the food is good and tasty. I usually get chicken shish kebab and it is very nice except one or two times it was excellent. I don't like the lamb shish kebab because I don't think it is lamb. I think I know how lamb tastes and feels. I eat at this place almost every week but no lamb shish. And their felafel is very good most of the time. Humus is good as well. Finally prices are acceptable. Suggested to try!

The food here was very good and the service was excellent. Food came very quickly after we ordered it, was in generous portions and tasty. The desserts were yummy too!

excellant restaurant, more of a restaurant then a take-out place. service was friendly and efficient. hostess regularly checked with us if we needed anything. Food was good and tasty, i had a half chicken special and they happily accommodated me swopping rice for fries. huge serving too!

I would like to start off by saying that I loved the Shishkabob house. The service was nice and fast, the food was fantastic and it wasn't at all expensive. My family usually only eat about 4 or 5 times a year and my husband is extremely critical about the food he eats and he loved it along with the whole family. This is a great restaurant for Muslims and non Muslims.

I live in MISSISSIPPI and visits this restaurant almost every month the food is always fresh, the place is clean, and staff is nice. I would recommend anyone who wants a delicious fresh cooked halal meal to go here.

Best falefal I have ever tasted as well as Hummus. The owners are a really nice Muslim family. Everything is fresh as it is located right next to the halal meat market.

In terms of halal food in this area, Shish Kabob house beats all expectations, in terms of food and service. Went two nights in a row, for real fresh tasty halal food. The owner is really nice, the quantity and quality both surpass expectations. I would DEFINETELY recommend this for anyone lookin to eat halal food in New Orleans. The place is clean, and again the food was excellent. I ordered chicken & kabob shawarma dinner plate, that came with bread (roti) and fresh salad!

I just went here yesterday. The food was great. The meat is 100% halal. Many mideastern resturants in LA don't sell everything halal, but shish kabab house meat are all halal. Did I forget to mention I love their food. The owner has been a cook for over 24 years, MashaAllah.
